Products & Materials

What is SPC (Stone Polymer Composite)?

SPC is an ultra-dense core material engineered from a blend of natural stone powder, polyvinyl chloride, and stabilisers. The result is a rigid, dimensionally stable panel or plank that is 100% waterproof, highly resistant to impact, and does not expand or contract significantly with changes in temperature making it ideal for both commercial and residential environments.

Are Cirveno panels suitable for bathrooms and wet areas?

Yes — all Cirveno SPC wall panels and flooring are 100% waterproof. They are specifically engineered for high-moisture environments including bathrooms, shower enclosures, kitchens, laundry rooms, and commercial wet areas. No additional waterproofing membrane is required behind the panels.

Installation

How does the click installation system work?

Cirveno panels feature a precision-engineered click-lock profile that allows planks and panels to be installed without adhesive on floors, and with minimal adhesive or mechanical fixing on walls. Panels lock together tightly, creating a near-seamless finish. The system is designed to be installed by skilled tradespeople and significantly reduces labour time compared to traditional tile methods.

How much faster is installation compared to traditional tiles?

In most commercial applications, Cirveno SPC systems can be installed up to 5× faster than ceramic or porcelain tile. This is due to the elimination of wet trades, the click-lock system, and the ability to install directly over most existing substrates with minimal preparation.

Can panels be installed directly over existing tiles?

In many cases, yes. Cirveno flooring can be installed over existing hard floor surfaces provided they are structurally sound, flat (within 3mm over 1.8m), and free of contamination. Wall panels can be applied over painted plaster, tiles, and cement board. We recommend consulting our technical team for substrate-specific guidance.

Do you provide installation support and technical guidance?

Absolutely. Cirveno provides comprehensive installation guides, technical data sheets, and substrate preparation guidelines for all products. Our technical team is available to advise on project-specific requirements before and during installation.

Specification & Projects

Can I request samples before specifying for a project?

Yes — we strongly encourage sample requests before specification. Physical samples allow you to assess texture, finish, and colour in your specific lighting conditions. You can request samples directly via our Contact page.

Do you work with architects and interior designers on projects?

Yes, working with design professionals is a core part of how Cirveno operates. We provide technical documentation, BIM data on request, detailed product specifications, and dedicated project support for architects, interior designers, and specification consultants.

What project types are you most commonly used for?

Cirveno products are widely used in hotel and hospitality refurbishments, high-end residential developments, office fit-outs, retail and commercial interiors, healthcare environments, and educational buildings. Our materials are specified globally across all sectors where durability, aesthetics, and installation efficiency are priorities.

What are the lead times for orders?

Standard stock items are typically available for dispatch within 3–5 business days. For large-volume or custom orders, lead times vary depending on quantity and specification. Contact our team early in the project programme to confirm availability and scheduling.
